Are Audi S Good After 100k Miles
Will the engine still be good.
Are audi s good after 100k miles. Well i had a 68 mercedes 220 d that clocked 300 000 miles before the engine wore out. My friend had an old audi and it was really well maintained and drove fantastically. 100k miles should be nothing on this car but constant problems starting at around 50k miles. I cannot vouch for audi.
My 2001 audi tt had about 130 000 miles when it got stolen. Coolant hose fitting in side of engine made me loose a lot of expensive audi coolant before it got changed. They are very expensive. And now this steering problem.
First this isn t a ford focus i m driving. Also is it worth the price. The problem is most used a4 has more than 100 000 miles on it and are listed at 11 000 to 14 000 there s few that has around 80 000 90 000 mileage. That s old enough that you can find.
This bodes well for finding a used chevy equinox that s still in good shape at 100 000 miles or more. Audis are heck good cars. From about 100 000 to 130 000 miles for me fuel pump bad when it got stolen. My sister has a 98 320e that is near 200k and runs like new.
My b5 a4 1 8t is just about to hit 180 000 miles 100k of which with me and modified it s used daily for commute and site visits for my work as well as being punted round race tracks. I get that stuff eventually goes bad but the famous german engineered audi brand with seemingly no end to problems. The equinox is also known for being an iihs top safety pick throughout its second generation which ran from 2010 through 2014. Go back 20 years or so and mileage was a far bigger issue and 100k was like a tombstone to a car.
Heated seats button broken when stolen. I have been a mercedes owner ever since. I got it from a neighbor who changed the timing belt at 80 000. They all go well in excess of 100k if maintained correctly.
I m looking into buying a used 2006 08 audi a4 for modifying. There doesn t seem to many older ones around anymore 5000 4000. Watch out for repair costs though especially after 100k miles.
