Audi A3 Losing Power On Motorway

Hey can anyone on here please help my other halfs car is playing up as one minute it will run fine the next well the engine seems to loss power and feels very jerky even the accelerator cable seems to judder under your feet and it really does judder the car is fine when cold but plays up when warm iv had it checked and the maf is ok but i did replace the cat well by passed it as it was.

Audi a3 losing power on motorway. I have put 100 mile on it and today en route to work i lost power. 110 bhp audi a3 which i brought yesterday. Yeah my late 2006 audi a4 convertible 2 0 tdi had the same issue power loss jerking cutting out but when cold it ran fine my first guess was fuel stavation so it must be the pump but my 2006 audi a4 convertible 2 0 tdi is no stock version this cars engine was was not in good shape when i purchased it even thou it has 20 service stamps in the book. Any idea what may have caused this.

I was driving on the motorway at about 70mph when the car lurched and the engine management light came on followed by the engine losing power. I have got in my car this morning which is an audi a3 02 plate 1 9tdi quattro. This will happen on average 3 times on a journey of approx 100 miles. I have a 2 0 tdi bkd 140hp engined a3.

As i was driving it just now it seemed to lose a lot of its power normally its very fast but it just didn t have any pull in it. This occurs randomly often when just driving along at a constant speed or accelerating very gently. I recently bought a 2011 audi a6 2 0d that has done 55 000 miles. I pulled over and turned the engine of for a minute then started it back up again and it seemed to be better.

Ive only had the car a week so not sure what this means. I have heard that the fault may be with my maf mass air flow meter. I have an audi a3 2 ltr tdi 54 reg. Jessica silson was driving on the m62 earlier this month when her audi a3 cabriolet sport 2 0tdi lost power travelling 70mph just four days after having the engine software update installed.

The car has suddenly lost all acceleration boost. When driving on the motorway at 70mph i put my foot down to accelerate and lose all power to the accelerator. It rectified itself and starting ticking over normally but. It is driving ok apart from this.

I have not come across this before. I pulled over to the hard shoulder to see what was wrong and the engine was stuttering as if it was struggling to get diesel. Initially i thought i had a turbo failure but no black smoke. I have an 54 reg a3 2 0 tdi that has nearly 80 000 miles on the clock.
