I have recently purchased an audi sat navignition plus for my a3 but can t seem to get the sat nat working on it. The card arrived and i am still getting the same message please insert a valid data storage device with valid navigation data. I also have reset the head unit holding power.

Audi please insert navigation data medium. Hey guys just upgraded to the navigation plus screen from a 2011 tts. Disc the car came with which is undamaged and is a genuine copy but every time i put the disc in it comes up with please insert. I just received my euro 193 g unit for my a3 it doesn t recognize the satelite radio which i believe needs to be coded via vagcom. It just has a message on the screen when i press sat nav saying please insert navigation medium.

And when i insert the sd nav card it recognizes as shown the source contains the navigation database. I bought a 2015 disc with 7 digit postcodes from ebay and when i put it in the system whirs for a few minutes and then says please insert navigation medium. Works fine apart from the sat nav i bought an sd europe card with 2013 maps on know this works as tried it in our new a3 however just comes up please insert navigation medium i m lost any help would be appreciated. Fitted into our 07 tfsi.

Now the weird thing is when i insert an oem north american maps disc 2009 2010 its says please insert navigation medium. Please insert a data medium with valid navigation data card card has been inserted in the slot 2 all the time tried on slot 1 but won t work i have attached picture with the card car is an octavia 2 0tdi dsg 2013. I have tried the card in both slot 1 and 2 multiple times. I was expecting please insert navigation disc.
