Does 2012 audi a4 have aux input. All these cable plug into the ami audi music interface jack in the glovebox. Mini usb i have both the mini usb and 3 5mm aux cables. I don t want to replace the whole headunit as im not keen on aftermarket units and don t want to pay 500 odd upgrading to a better audi unit is there a kit i can buy and have installed fairly cheap to do the trick. Unfortunately many vehicles do not have phone docks as a standard option but this shouldn t stop you from being able to enjoy your favorite music.

I used to have all my mp3 songs in my phone palm pre and preferred that in my previous vehicle since i have it mounted on my touchstone dock in my car right next to the stickshift. The aux is very limited in the sense i cannot control the music from the dashboard or steering wheel. I also have an aux connector in my arm rest but it s never worked.
